Salicylate Liqui-UV®
Salicylate intoxication often occurs in children due to its accessibility, in chronic patients who have regular need for medication and in patients who are taking a combination of prescription and non-prescription dosages. Overdose of salicylate is also associated with suicide attempts.
The Salicylate Liqui-UV® is an enzymatic method for the quantification of salicylate.
- Stat results are possible as the assay reaction time is less than 10 minutes
